After completion of postgraduation with first rank in Orthopedics in 2004, from one of its kind, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, Dr Mihir Mehta, has a working experience of 10 years so far. During his training at Civil Hospital, he gained vast experience in the field of Joint Replacement, Complex trauma care and emergency management as well as managing various types of spinal problems. With very condensed training, hard work and expert guidance of his teachers, he sharpened his clinical acumen and surgical skills.
In his early professional career, he got an opportunity to work with one of the best corporate hospitals i.e.Sterling Hospitals, as a full time Orthopedic Surgeon for 2 years. There, he developed his professional skills and gained newer horizons of knowledge in the field of Joint Replacement while working with some of the best surgeons of city of Ahmedabad.
Since March 2006, he has been successfully running the state of art, Rugveda Center for Joint Replacement, Spine care & Advanced Orthopedics.
He has experience of more than 5000 Orthopedic surgeries so far, at Civil , Sterling & Rugveda Orthopedic Hospital.
Since last few years, Dr Mihir Mehta is dedicated to the field of Modern Joint Replacement Surgery. He has experience of more than 2000 Joint replacement Surgeries so far, with ever increasing number as time passes by.
After having thorough basic joint replacement & orthopedic training at his parent institute(Civil Hospital), he has been around the World, visiting various International Joint replacement centers & surgeons, like Germany, Singapore, Austria, Thailand & so on, in order to sharpen his surgical skills & to expand the horizons of his knowledge in this field. He is a member of various esteemed National & International Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Organizations.
Dr Mihir Mehta has recently developed VERY Innovative & Unique, FAST TRACK JOINT REPLACEMENT SURGERY.
